The text refers to “best practices” over and again but these are not… they’re opinions.
Most teams and individuals will benefit from removing stylistic timewasters like this by doing automated code formatting on save. “Black” is a good option for that - set it up to run on save in your IDE (or use pre-commit) and you’ll never have to spend mental bandwidth on this again.
